Happiness
Watched a movie today. Wasn’t the best, but I think it came with an important message. Happiness isn’t about everything being perfect in life. It’s about living life by your own terms and conditions and being satisfied with where you are.
I’ve been thinking about it a lot recently and there really is a lot of truth to the statement. There are plenty of things in my life...

connie-wang:
Instead of incessantly complaining about how I will spend the rest of my Valentine’s Day (and life, for that matter) with cats and alcohol, I feel the need to justify why I feel oddly optimistic about today.
Maybe optimistic is a lil far-fetched considering my intransigent behavior towards those…
Just something to think about today :)
A big fuck you to Southwest Airlines for charging me an extra $116 to take an earlier flight. I am sick as hell and all I want to do is get home for the well deserved four day weekend I’ve been looking forward to all week. Both the flight I was originally booked for and the earlier one are completely empty anyways so I don’t understand why you create such a fuss in the first place.

Bruin Pride
“Nineteen of the 20 women on Sundhage’s roster also played for her in the 2011 World Cup in Germany, where the U.S. lost a dramatic final to Japan on penalty kicks. The exception is former UCLA standout Sydney Leroux, a 21-year-old forward and Vancouver native who played for Canada in the U-19 World Cup as a 14-year-old. Leroux’s mother is Canadian but her dad is an American, so...

THANK GOD for whoever came up with the idea of curving classes.
Thank god for my teacher being maternal after giving birth.
Hard work and studying pays off every once in a while.
I have conquered you bio, ochem, and physics!
Honestly want to cry of happiness right now.
Or scream into a pillow. (Thanks Sahana)
Never been so happy to see grades.
Today was a good day.
Really good day.
:)
30 hours of hell
Started this morning at 8. 3 finals. In 30 hours.
Honestly felt like shit this morning and didn’t think I would make it through the final without having to bolt out because I felt that sick. I can’t remember what I wrote down on that final. It was like my hand was disconnected from my brain. I left an hour early because I couldn’t bring myself to think about the test anymore....
UCLA Men’s Soccer makes me so happy! Heading to NCAA Championship Semifinals after a 1-0 win in second overtime.
Turns out I’m still alive after the minor heart attacks I suffered from during the game. NBD.
dlskfjkfdlj. YAY!
//end spaz attack.
Powernaps
Seriously the best thing ever. Not the shit where you say you’ll be up in 30 minutes and end up sleeping for days. I’m talking about the ones where you actually only sleep for like 20 minutes and wake up feeling fully rested and ready to go. Almost like you got a full night’s sleep.
Ochem come at me!

Randoms.
Since I had my facebook password changed for me, I’ve realized how much of a habit it is to just click on my facebook bookmark when I’m on the computer. I click but when it asks for my login I realize that I can’t. It’s pretttyyy sad.
Since facebook is gone though….more tumblr. LOL.
In other news, the UCLA football coach got fired. 50-0 against USC. Not a joke. And...
Good Day Part 2
Another day that has made me realize how much I have to be thankful for. Honestly, today wasn’t about really big things, but the little moments of life adding up. I realize that I have to take 3 finals in less than 2 weeks but it is nice to have a day where I can just be brought back down to ground level to really appreciate what I have.
-Beautiful LA weather. It is the end of November...

Good Days
I figure I should stop and appreciate the good moments of life whenever they come along. Today was a good day so why not :)
-Finishing round one of midterms. Three weeks before any more! Granted there’s 3 in 2 days then but hey I’m going to enjoy this while I can.
-Not failing my first ochem midterm! :)
-Also not failing the LS quiz I had to take in the midst of chem studying.

The Bro Conundrum
Everyone says it’s good to be a bro as a girl. Dudes can relate to you. They WANT to talk to you because…well you’re easy to talk to. You can mess around and hang out and it never has to mean anything.
But then what if you want it to? How do you move out of that bro zone? You’ve spent all this time building up this trust and friendship, but it means nothing if you...

(Re)beginning
I’m off to start another school year this weekend. This summer was all I wanted it to be and more. Yes taking classes sucked, but I got to experience a different campus with different people. I’m so glad that I got to spend all the time at Cal that I did, with the people that really matter to me. I’m glad that I met all the people that I did. But I’m mostly glad that I got...

..with my family is always an event. This morning watching the FIFA Women’s World Cup, USA vs Colombia:
Dad: FOUL! FOUL! GIVE HER A YELLOW CARD REF! THE US PLAYER IS ON THE GROUND FOR GOD’S SAKE.
Brother: Dad, the US girl just tripped the Colombian player…
Dad: …oh.

How much did you pay for your disneyland trip (one...
Wow, totally did not know anyone still asked me questions on here! :)
But I can’t remember the exact prices… I think we got a 2-day disneyland hopper for each person around $80 and that came through craigslist. The way you do that is to find someone who bought a 5 or 6 day hopper but only used it for a few days. The more days you have the better deal you’re getting so you can...

Wonder
You know how they tell you, don’t look at someone else’s life and wish you had it, because everyone has their problems whether they show it or not? Sometimes, I really wonder how true that is. Because right now I am on the outside looking in, and I can’t see any problems with anyone except for me.
